Weeky Lawn Mowing:
Includes mowing of the lawn, trimming around the edges of the lawn, and clean up of any grass clippings on the driveway or walkways. We use both larger mowers for the wide open areas of your lawn and smaller push mowers for those hard to reach areas.
Spring Clean-Ups:
Spring cleaning of your yard consists of clearing leaves left from the fall and winter deposit of debris.
Dethatching:
Using a power rake, we pull up all the dead grass and thatch buildup at the soil level of the lawn that chokes the growth of your grass. Pulling the thatch up allows the lawn room to grow and re-seed itself. It also allows better penetration of water and fertilizer. The best time to dethatch your lawn is in the early spring.
Overseeding:
Reseeding your lawn helps to repair dead spots and holes in your lawn. It replaces weeds and thickens the grass. Overseeding can virtually remake your yard with having to tear it up and start all over again!!
Shrub Trimming:
Keeping your shrubs trimmed makes them look well manicured and promotes root development. It also stimulates new growth.
Mulching:
Mulching not only makes your shrub beds look good, it also helps to control weeds and keeps your flowers and shrubs moist in dry conditions.
Shrub and Tree Planting:
Having shrubs and trees in your yard really makes your yard look complete. Shrubs and trees help to clean the air that we breathe.
Fall Clean-Ups:
A fall clean-up consists of removing leaves from the lawn and shrub beds. At this time, the lawn is also cut shorter for the winter season. Fall clean-ups save you from having to bag and dispose of the leaves.
Snow Plowing:
Service is performed at a one inch snowfall. Snow removal begins after the storm has stopped. Ice melt is available upon request.
J. Sypek Quality Lawn Care and Maintenance also does landscape design and renovations along with small tree removal and pruning.
